Text Box: 1. Single small scale Military Vehicle; any scale up to and including 1/48th. 2. Single large scale Military Vehicle; any scale over 1/48th. 3. Single small scale Aircraft; any scale up to and including 1/72nd. 4. Single large scale Aircraft; any scale over 1/72nd. 5. Single Ship; any scale. 6. Miscellaneous. JUNIOR CLASSES (AGE LIMIT : 16 YEARS AND UNDER) 7. Single Aircraft; any scale. 8. Miscellaneous Models.

 

NB: The organisers reserve the right to vary the number of classes and delete or amalgamate classes in the interest of the Competition.

 

RULES

 

Entries must be placed between 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on Saturday 13th September.  Entries cannot be accepted before the Show.

 

There will be a nominal administration charge of 50p (Juniors 20p) for each entry, payable on the day of entry (Saturday 13th September).

 

Entries may not have won any modelling competitions previously.  They must be essentially the entrants own work.

 

Professional painters and modellers are not eligible to enter.

 

Up to 3 entries may be made in one class.                                                           

 

The competition will be judged between 2.30 and 4.00 p.m. on Saturday 13th September.  The announcement of winners and prize-giving will take place between 4.30 and 5.00 p.m. that day.  Entrants are requested not to remove their entries before the prizes are awarded.

 

Entries for Class 6 (Miscellaneous) may not be eligible for entry to classes in the Painting Competition on Sunday 14th September.

 

Entrants for the Junior Classes (Classes 7 and 8) must be aged 16 years or under on the day.  Juniors may enter any class.

 

The Judge's decision is final.

 

The organisers accept no responsibility for the safety and security of entries.

 

PRIZES

 

A Trophy and Certificate is awarded to the winner of each class, a Certificate to the runner up.

 

Winners of classes in this Competition are eligible to compete for the Military Modelling Trophy plus £50 cash prize for the Best of Show, providing their winning entry is available for judging on Sunday 14th September.

 

Additional prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the organisers.
