All competition periods are open to individual entrants; those marked * above (the one-day competitions) also constitute the Club Team Championship.  Clubs may enter teams of two or more players (details on request).   Competitors may enter two one-day championships – special entry rate applies.  Armies provided for use in 15mm one-day championships.  Details of competition rules.

 

The Colours Wargames Competition offers really attractive awards and prizes, including trophies and cash prizes in all periods.  Competitors in the one-day periods (* above) are also eligible to win the Champion of Champions prize (Practical Wargamer Trophy) and a cash bonus.  The Championships are sponsored by Osprey Publishing.

 

All competitors are eligible to win the prize for the Best Painted Army, provided it has not been professionally painted, and the Competitors Trophy for the most sporting participant.

 

The competitions will be run using a Swiss Chess system, each competitor will normally play at least 3 games, in some periods there may be up to 5 rounds.  The Competition Timetable allows participants plenty of time to enjoy the show.

 

Entrance Fee £12.00 per player (£6.00 for second one-day competition entry), £2.00 per person discount for multiple team/club entries of five or more players.  Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis, please register early to ensure your place.  The entry fee includes two day's entry to COLOURS 2011.

 

COLOURS 2011 may also feature additional competitions and special prizes.
