All competition periods are open to individual entrants; those marked * above also constitute the Club Team Championship.  Clubs may enter teams of three or more players (details on request). The Colours Wargames Competition offers really attractive prizes, including trophies and cash prizes in all periods.  Competitors in the periods marked * above are also eligible to win the Champion of Champions prize (Practical Wargamer Trophy) and a cash bonus.

 

All competitors are eligible to win the prize for the Best Painted Army, provided it has not been professionally painted, and the Competitors Trophy for the most sporting participant.

 

The competitions will be run using a Swiss Chess system, each competitor will normally play at least 3 games, in some periods there may be up to 5 rounds.  Options for players to alternate/substitute available.  The Competition Timetable allows plenty of time to enjoy the show.

 

Entrance Fee £10.00 per player.  Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis, please register early to ensure your place using the Competition Application Form.  The entry fee includes two day's entry to COLOURS 2008.

 

COLOURS 2008 may also feature additional competitions and special prizes, details to follow.
